As usual, my life has been a whirlwind, and it’s kept me away from the computer. I apologize for the massive lapse in time since my last update, but I have a mountain of news.
First of all, the status of NO/LA. Alex and I are still going to do work on it, but we’ve put it aside for now to pursue other projects. Alex created the basis for a graphic novel called Iron, and the script was so exciting that it took precedence and has become our focus for now. The NO/LA site will remain in place for now, but updates are on indefinite hiatus until the project is resumed. I have completed some of the work on Iron, and will share those in the blog in upcoming days.
My other main comic project, Justice Falls, has also come a long way these past few months. I finally worked out a cover that I feel is the perfect introduction to the dark realm Brent and Matt have created, and have posted it over in the blog with a further explanation of the path I took to create it.
Lastly, I was able to participate in the downtown Fullerton Art Walk this past month, and have work on exhibit in two different venues. Some of my older pieces are on display at Buffalo Exchange, and the image below this post is one of three pieces I have on display at Zero to Hero Comics. I encourage any of my Southern California visitors to stop by and take a look at the works; they will be on display until March 2nd.
Brandon Singleton is an Illustrator from Missouri. He has a BFA in Illustration from Missouri Western State University, and now lives in Fullerton, California. But enough about that guy…you’re really here to see the art.
